American Comedian Jimmy Kimmel Teaches Kenyans ‘How to Read Celebrity Tweets’

In a nutshell, Kenyans don’t have access to Twitter and internet access is ‘highly limited’… at least according to ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel. For his remarks, the eccentric comedian came under fire today from a section of ruthless Kenyans on Social media (and particularly those on Twitter).

On the Thursday edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live! ‘Kenyans read celebrity Tweets’ was the feature video of the day, starring a number of Kenyans simply reading out tweets of American superstars, least of which is Kim Kardashian. As with most updates on social networks, most were narcissistic or complaints with why life has to be unfair sometimes.

Now comedy really is ‘touchy’ business, and it’s quite tough not stepping on toes while making certain remarks in (or out of) jest. Be the judge… what do you think?

Hilarious. I don’t see why anybody should get mad about this. Over half of Kenyans still don’t have electricity and the number is even smaller for Internet access. A significantly small number have internet and they think everybody has what they have. This is Kenya not the United States. Kenya needs help. Please keep helping Jimmy. I love your show!!
